The Termogea system for climate management in large buildings is designed for users who are not interested in monitoring, metering and allocating consumption. These typically include schools, public buildings, offices, hotels, religious buildings, supermarkets, etc. Consumption monitoring can only be performed for the generator and not for individual areas of the building. This solution allows for complete remote management of the centralized system, with radiant floor/ceiling, fan coils or radiators distribution.
KEY SYSTEM FEATURES
DIRECT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN APARTMENTS AND THERMAL POWER PLANT TO REDUCED CONSUMPTION
New Termogea technology enables direct communication between the control units located in the building zones and the control unit that manages the generator. Direct communication reduces consumption costs because the generator only starts when requested by individual zones.
AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
The Plug & Play temperature control system automatically configures itself when the system is turned on for the first time.
CLOUD SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
Real-time remote system management for temperature control, thermal power plant consumption monitoring and system maintenance.
SMART CLIMATE CONTROL MANAGEMENT IN LARGE BUILDINGS
In large buildings, the Termogea System divides the building into macro areas. Each macro area is managed by the Plug & Play Smart Central control unit, which can control up to 8 zones. The control unit communicates directly with the power plant via LAN through the Termogea Smart Hub (TSH) control unit. Both control units are equipped with an integrated gateway with an Ethernet interface. In addition to internal communication via LAN, the TSH control unit also communicates data externally via internet to the Termogea Cloud. The Cloud System is dedicated to remote management of the climate control and the overall system.
DIRECT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MACRO-AREAS AND THERMAL POWER PLANT
Termogea has developed an innovative system for direct communication between the power plant and the zones in centralized systems. This technology allows for real-time adjustments to temperature control, reducing energy costs and ensuring comfort.
The system centralizes key climate control functions: Pre-ignition/Ignition of the thermal system – Seasonal change – Monitoring of zone activity status – Climate curve configuration – Temperature setting.
CENTRALIZED PRE-START
The ALL-ON function opens all the heads in the macro-areas for pre-starting the system.
ON-DEMAND SWITCH-ON
The system activates the power plant only when there is a demand from the zones. This reduces energy costs.
CENTRALIZED SEASONAL CHANGE
Synchronized seasonal change between the power plant and the macro areas.
ZONE ACTIVITY STATUS
Centralized monitoring of zone “online” or “on call” status.
CENTRALIZED CLIMATE CURVE
Centralized definition of the climate curve for all zones, also considering the dew point through the use of the mixer within the zones.
CENTRALIZED TEMPERATURE SETTING
Centralized setting of maximum and minimum room temperatures for all zones.
PLUG & PLAY CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
PLUG & PLAY CONTROL UNITS
The systems in each apartment are managed by the Smart Compact or Smart Central control units, which manage up to 4 and 8 zones, respectively. These control units are connected to Minitouch thermostats or zone temperature and humidity sensors. Both have integrated software that immediately identifies the number/type of sensors/thermostats and the distribution system used when the system is turned on. No design or configuration is required.
REMOTE SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
TEMPERATURE CONTROL, ADMINISTRATION, AND MAINTENANCE
The Termogea Smart Hub control unit is equipped with an integrated gateway with an Ethernet interface for internet connection to the Termogea Cloud. It is therefore designed for remote system connection. Cloud access has different authorization levels for the building administrator, maintenance technician, and end user. Administrators and maintenance technicians can access the system remotely for checks and maintenance. End users can adjust the temperature control from their smartphones using the Termogea App to read, modify, and program the temperature in the various zones. Generator consumption can also be monitored via the Smart Hub control unit.
